Mahmoud comes with more than 20 years of experience in business leading functions across Strategy, Marketing and Innovation in the telecom and ICT industries. In his latest role, he was the Director of Marketing and Business Development at BasharSoft, the company behind the leading recruitment platforms in Egypt. Also, Mahmoud was the managing director of Ingenuity Studio, a digital marketing agency that specializes in marketing and product management. Also, he was leading the Marketing Segments function in Etisalat Misr and the Strategy Project Management Office in Vodafone Egypt. Being passionate about people development, Mahmoud is a part-time instructor of Marketing in Brilliance Business School and part time consultant in the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC).

Mahmoud holds a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) in Innovation Management and Marketing from the International Business Academy of Switzerland, MPhil in Marketing from Maastricht university in Netherlands, Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from American University in Cairo and Bachelors of Science from the Ain Shams university. He is certified from many international institutions like Google, PMI, ITIL and Sun.
