Sequence Ventures is the first firm in the Middle East and North Africa solely exploring investments in startups applied on Deep-Tech verticals. At Sequence Ventures, we believe that technology businesses with established commercial operations and growing revenues have great potential to scale.

Sequence Ventures has launched two funds: Egypt Deep Tech, a fund solely investing in young Egyptian entrepreneurs and startups, and Sequence Ventures Fund I, a deep-tech fund to be invested in its entirety in the European region.

TECHNOLOGy Verticals

Deep-Tech companies are experiencing increased investments due to their global scalability because of their lack of physical assets, the increased use of internet connectivity worldwide and the ability of startups to scale faster than commodity startups. 

Sequence Ventures invests in “Next Wave Technologies”, which have proven to be the core of the upcoming era, specifically: Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, IoT, Biotechnology and other emerging technologies.

Sectors

At Sequence Ventures, we believe that there is a good opportunity to achieve attractive returns in the technology sector.

All investments will be in sectors that are transformational and are considered key and crucial industries, including but not limited to: Fintech, Health-Tech, Edu-Tech, Prop-Tech and Dev-Ops. 

Stage

We invest in startups that have an already set breakthrough technology solution, have business traction and are already present in their target market. 

Typically, Sequence Ventures will invest in Seed and Series A Startups.

Sequence Ventures is a seed and early-stage VC. Some startups are likely to be raising funds to develop an idea, product or concept, others would have a tested prototype and a developed business plan. Sequence Ventures also consider investing at an even earlier stage if the concept and the team are exceptional.
